Eastside Baptist Church situated at 2 Glengarry Crescent Invercargill New Zealand is working to transform the suburb of Glengarry in into a place of strong community spirit.  We identify the poverty and social disadvantage that some in the area are experiencing, and help others to fight and win against addictions. The role we have adopted is one of holistic transformation, not just spiritually, but relationally, physically and emotionally as well.

Sunday services weekly at 10.30am and twice monthly at 7pm: Testimony Night on the second Sunday of the month - practice telling your Christian story to others in a safe environment - and Alt.Worship on the 4th Sunday of the month - be involved in doing all those worship styles that you would feel uncomfortable doing during the morning service.

Tuesday mornings at 10.30am Play Cafe for parents and pre-schoolers - trips and guest speakers and fun

Tuesday Midday prayer meeting @ church.

ICONZ children's programs from 5- 7.30pm for 5-10 year olds on Tuesday. 

Women's INSPIRE home group at a local home every fortnight at 3pm on Tuesdays

Inspire home group in Kinmont Crescent every Tuesday night at 7pm

Wednesday drop in and community meal, from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Foundations INSPIRE bible study at 1pm @ church

Two Community gardens now being cultivated:  Lithgow St is worked on Wednesday mornings and Saturday mornings. The Makarewa site is worked on Saturday monrings - the van leaves the church at 10am every Saturday - back at midday - grow vegetables for yourself and for others in the community

Catalyst Youth Group on Thursday evenings.

Friday morning prayer meeting @ 10am at a local home. 

An annual Celebrate Living in Glengarry Gala Day in February.

We support the monthly (last Saturday of the month) Glengarry Market Day and Car Boot Sale held in the carpark across the road. (At church if it is wet)
